With origins going back over 100 years, Prospec Limited was established in 1977 as a subsidiary of a large quoted Plc. In 1985 it was subject to a buyout by the current management team.
The first few years of the company's activities were spent developing a worldwide market for glass walls on squash and racquet ball courts and in the early 1980's Prospec expanded its activities to include the Marathon range of storage lockers and partitions using solid phenolic panels.
As a result of Prospec's engineering and installation experience, the products have become widely accepted across North America and in the UK. Currently, "Marathon" is considered to be the market leader, in local authority swimming pool and sport centre developments.
