Prospec US has recently supplied over 2500 lockers at the Jewish Community Center in St Louis, covering two sites, The Marilyn Fox Building, and the all new 100,000 sq ft Staenberg Family Building. This state of the art facility on the site of the Carlyn H Wohl building, caters for the whole remit of facilities expected from today's clientele. The "J" offers fitness & aquatics, sports & recreation, arts & culture, day camps, early and adult learning, and family life courses. The Prospec product blends in perfectly for such a high use, high quality campus.
Director of Building & Grounds, Bryan A Anderhub quotes "In planning for an upscale 100,000 sq ft state of the art fitness facility, we wanted to make sure that the locker rooms had the same feeling - an upscale "club" like feel" "the Prospec option of an aluminium body with ABS shelves and a solid phenolic door provides a high end look on the exterior, with a maintenance free interior that is easy to clean and will not rust".
Prospec used Cherry wood grain effect 3/8" thick solid phenolic from Formica for the doors, end panels, base and valance with a fluorescent up-lighter fixed atop the lockers, to provide the quality appearance. After nearly 2 years of use across both sites, Bryan comments "they look the same as they did when they were installed - brand new, and with the addition of the Digilock option, they have suited the needs of our members very well, we would recommend these lockers to anyone who is considering a good, long term locker with an upscale look.
