Marathon Lockers (NBS N10/190a) with 10mm (3/8") solid phenolic doors, designed for wet or dry areas, have been used successfully for over 30 years in hundreds of public leisure centres, swimming pools, health and fitness clubs, holiday villages, schools and hotels.
Marathon Lockers are available in an almost unlimited choice of colours, patterns and finishes. Marathon lockers are designed to last, every element is built from materials which will not degrade when exposed to wet clothes and humid atmospheres. Special features have been incorporated to give resistance to realistic levels of vandalism.
There is a wide choice of locking systems to suit every application, with padlocks, key, coin operated or the latest electronic systems. For centres which are expected to experience high levels of misuse and vandalism, Marathon has a unique range of high security lock systems, which have been developed and tested in conjunction with Sheffield Hallam University.
Marathon phenolic lockers for use in wet and dry areas incorporate aluminium bodies with radius back corners for ease of cleaning and moulded plastic shelves, with ventilation at the front. The base unit has a 3deg slope to the front to facilitate drainage. The lockers can be cleaned by hosing down without risk of degradation
